Camille Fox

Camille was born in Alexandria Egypt. 
At the Age of six, during the Suez Crisis, she emigrated with her family to Israel. Six years later they migrated to Australia. Camille studied art at East Sydney Technical College, now the National Art School and the Julian Ashton Art School. She worked as an illustrator and cartoonist.

In 2003 Camille became an exhibiting artist and professional painter. Her colourful and glamorous figurative oil paintings are influenced by her personal history and memories of Egypt from a time that has passed. She exhibits regularly in solo exhibitions as well as in group shows.
